An Update on imgKonvert App Installation and Offline Access

Updated October 2, 2026: This article previously announced offline support. App installation and full offline access have now been retired.

What Has Changed?

Use imgkonvert.com with an internet connection to access the image tools. Installing the app or visiting a page once no longer provides supported offline access. Pro no longer includes these benefits.

An existing installed shortcut may remain on your device. Use the website for future work; you can remove the old shortcut through your device's app settings.

Your Image Privacy Stays the Same

Your image files stay on your device during conversion, compression, resizing, and other image processing. Retiring offline access does not change that privacy-focused approach.

How to Continue Using the Tools

Open the image converter, compressor, or another tool while connected to the internet.
Select your images and choose the settings you need.
Process, download, and review the results.
Sign in with Pro for supported bulk operations and unlimited daily use.

Plan Ahead for Travel or Outages

Download finished images before you lose connectivity. If you need to make new edits without a connection, prepare suitable desktop software in advance. imgKonvert does not guarantee that its tools will remain available after disconnecting.
